Employer’s roles in making immigration possible
The BC Provincial Nominee Program’s Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams require an eligible employer to put forth their support for your immigration application in order for it to be accepted. There are a wide range of eligible businesses and occupations.
Your potential employer needs to meet certain requirements:
- Your job must be full time and permanent
- The employer must be reputable, with a respectable workplace and decent business practices
- Wages offered to you must be in line with Canadian industry standards
- Your job offer needs to be written and it must outline all conditions of your employment
Talk to us about the elements your potential employer needs to meet. It can be exciting to receive a job offer from a Canadian employer, but if that offer doesn’t meet all the necessary requirements, it can be very deflating and may cost you your ability to immigrate to Canada
Let us help you understand the process and make sure the employer you may be working with is able to meet the requirements necessary.
