Create an Experience in Canada
See Canada, but make money while working through the International Experience Canada (IEC). This young adult program (open to ages 18 to 35 depending upon the country you’re from) is arranged with 36 program partner countries and several recognized organizations such as SWAP Working Holidays which helps coordinate a Canadian work and travel stay.
But, this is an expression of interest style program. You’ll need to create your IEC profile and receive an invitation to apply before submitting an application. Therefore, your expression of interest needs to be strong, clear and convincing. We can help.
Check out this Government of Canada web page for details on who can apply and how. Then, if you’re a fit, let us know and we’ll help you create the best expression of interest possible.
There are three programs under the IEC category:
- Working holiday – an open work period and ability to work for almost any Canadian employer
- Young Professionals – a Canadian employer has provided a signed job offer or confirmation of contract employment classified as skill level O, A or B in the National Occupation Code
- International Co-op – confirmed internship with a Canadian company.
Talk to us if working and exploring Canada sounds like the right option for you.
