Nestled between BC and Alaska, Yukon is one of Canada’s three territories. It has a deep history now for striking it rich in the gold rush era, but current features are so much more rewarding. The arts and culture of Yukon are diverse and travel to witness some of the most interesting sights is done by horseback, plane or boat.
While it’s definitely a colder climate, the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) are visible often here making for a backdrop to a winter wonderland – even in the summer!
